How often should I come to therapy?
Therapy frequency depends on your needs. Many clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions and adjust as they progress. We can discuss a schedule that works best for you.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know you, discussing your goals, and creating a plan tailored to your needs. It’s a safe space where you can share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable.
What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
Yes! I believe that financial limitations shouldn’t prevent anyone from receiving the care they need. I offer sliding scale fees based on income and financial circumstances to make therapy more accessible. If you’d like to discuss sliding scale options, please contact me to see what’s available for you.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
How do I use my out-of-network benefits?
Call your insurance provider and ask if they cover out-of-network mental health services.
Request details on reimbursement rates for therapy sessions.
If eligible, I will provide a superbill (detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
